Winter Wine Tasting in the Finger Lakes

While I was in upstate New York this past weekend, Mark and I took a trip to Lake Geneva and visited Lamoreaux Landing, one of the many popular vineyards around the Finger Lakes wine region. Wine tasting during this time of year was a nice contrast to our bright green and bustling summer visit to Dr. Konstantin Frank.

In the winter, there are fields of white snow, speckles of yellow of cornstalks.

The pale blue and gray sky contrasts with the dark blue water of the lakes.

Have you ever gone wine tasting at a vineyard in the off season?
